Database management
Databases are an important instrument at medDOC®, used to deliver translations with a consistently high level of quality, a short turnaround and at a fair price.
Customer-specific terminology databases
We keep customer-specific terminology databases for each language. This is a service that pays off in the long run - both for our customers and us. It means you can be sure that the terminology used in our translations is consistent and your corporate identity remains intact.
Standardised terminology conveys a corporate philosophy with integrity. However, it is not only aspects of external image that are relevant here. In international companies the internal effects are just as important: the aim is to standardise the language used in different departments in different countries.
CTS® is an instrument that does just that - efficiently and cost-effectively.
Translation memory systems
It goes without saying that medDOC® has all the commonly used translation memory systems currently available on the market. Translation memory systems store translated syntactic units, ready for use in future translations. With our translation memory systems, we offer increasingly sophisticated solutions for global information management. We are thereby streamlining the value chain on which the globalisation process is based for our customers, by simplifying and speeding up the availability of foreign-language copy on global markets. The globalisation process confronts all those involved with, in some cases, highly complex tasks - from composing text to content management and on to localisation, publishing and various other activities. We optimise these processes; thereby putting international companies in a position to gain that vital competitive edge: shorter time-to-market, greater customer satisfaction, consistent company image on the international market and reduced localisation costs.
