For medDOC®, data protection is an important element of a complete service
With the translation process at medDOC®, quality-assured as it is from start to finish, we can assure our customers of 100% data protection. Especially when it comes to sensitive areas such as:
- confidential patient data (e.g. operation reports or clinical trials),
- scientific studies,
- or launching new products or drugs,
a reliable data protection system is of great importance. We have created a system that provides our customers with absolute security. Any data supplied to medDOC® is subject to strict data protection provisions at each stage of processing, which are regulated by our quality management system.
Confidentiality
These provisions include confidentiality declarations agreed with every single person working for and at medDOC®. The confidentiality declaration regulates the handling of confidential documents and data in a clear and binding manner. All staff involved in a translation are thereby bound to the absolute non-disclosure of the content of a translation to third parties.
Security policy
All confidential data is encrypted by medDOC® before electronic despatch in accordance with the latest security standards (PGP). A firewall and the most recent virus scanner protect our IT systems against breaches (e.g. Trojans). Access rights with personally assigned passwords control the authorisation of all users and our refined security policy ensures that your data is stored in accordance with the three golden rules of IT - availability, confidentiality and integrity.
Our data protection systems thus ensure that only those who are actually authorised to access your data can do so!
